Data Collection
BrainBoost does not collect any personal information. The app does not require user accounts, login, or registration. No data is transmitted to external servers during normal use.
Data Storage
All data is stored locally on your device. Session history is kept in a local SQLite database, and user preferences are stored using the device's shared preferences. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export it.
Health Data Integration
BrainBoost can optionally integrate with Apple Health (iOS) and Health Connect (Android) to export meditation session data. This integration is entirely optional and requires your explicit consent. Health data is handled according to the respective platform's privacy policies.
Notifications
The app uses local notifications for meditation reminders. These notifications are generated and scheduled entirely on your device. No notification data is sent to any server.
Third-Party Services
BrainBoost does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking services. Audio is generated locally on your device — no network requests are made for core functionality.
Children's Privacy
BrainBoost does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Since the app does not collect personal data from any user, no special provisions for children are necessary.
Data Deletion
You can delete session history from within the app. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data from your device.
